Together on the Trail

Dear Neighbors of Hamilton Place,
We’re excited to invite you to register for the upcoming Together On the Trail walk as part of a broader initiative to restore neighborhood safety and community on the Los Gatos Creek Trail bordering the Hamilton Place Neighborhood Association. With the support of San Jose Police Department (SJPD) and Valley Water, we’re taking proactive steps to make the trail a safer, more welcoming space for everyone.
The event is free but advanced registration is required because we are limited to 150 participants. The flyer has a QR code and link for registration.

Last month there was a serious incident on the Los Gatos Creek trail bordering our community. In response, San Jose Police initiated a all-units in area search with the help of our Neighborhood Watch and broader San Jose D6 community that ultimately lead to the arrest of the suspect within 33 hours.
From June 18th to the present, parallel efforts have been made for a temporary pilot of a mountain bike police patrol in D6 to enforce existing Parks and Recreation Municipal Code against camping on lands adjacent to trails.
Please sign the petition if you recognize the importance of a funded Bike Patrol in our neighborhood trails and safety
